What exactly are Offsite Social ‘interactions’? Are they related to concurrents?

Crowdtangle uses a custom metric called interactions that gives users the ability to make one-to-one comparisons across the various social media platforms. They combine the various likes, favorites, shares, comments, and other actions people make into a single number so you can compare a Facebook post to a Twitter post.

If you hover over any Offsite Social post you'll see the single Interactions number replaced by the specific actions that make it up. For example, Facebook Interactions becomes comments, shares, and likes, while Twitter Interactions become retweets and likes.
