After the required parameters, you can add a combination of metrics, filters, and groups to customize your data and build exactly the query you want.
- Metrics identifies which audience and site data points you want returned in your report. Any given query may include multiple metrics to create comprehensive reports.
- Filters allow you to specify a variable you’d like to focus on. Use the filter parameter to dive deeper into your historical metrics and create reports that reflect specific audience breakdowns.
- The group by parameter selects the criteria for which your metrics are returned, such as time of day, geographic location, demographic, and page specific data. Adding additional groups allows you to create more dynamic reports.
